We have a 7 month old male that we imported from our friends in Germany. Jax is from a pairing between Feder II v.d. Dachswiese X Irko II v.d. Dachswiese. We have been following many of the dogs in this line for a long time, and after owning Irko’s brother Ilex (he was killed in a tragic accident) we were very excited and honored to have the opportunity to bring jax to the states. At 7 months Jax is a wonderful little male, he has a full beard, very nice head, and an even better personality. He is very loving, and eager to learn.He is awesome with kids, strangers, and other dogs. Jax has spent a fair amount of time on the prairies of ND this fall being exposed to sharptails and pheasants. He has demonstrated an above average desire to track, and has very good use of nose. Unfortunately he has developed an (insignificant to his health) bite issue that will make him un-breedable in the VDD. This is an opportunity to own a very solid hunting dog from very prominent bloodlines. All he needs is someone to continue his development and he will mature into a phenomenal hunting machine.
