Looking for a great started dog, he is it. We had to close down our game preserve two years ago. We kept several dogs for our hunting use and our guide service. Poor Jack has not been getting the attention hunting as he should be, so we have decided to sell him. This is a great dog and will make someone a awesome hunting dog, especially for grouse. He is a small dog, close working like his mom, with excellent noes and very natural. His mom is our number one dog and is incredible, that why we wanted to keep him, He is identical. His mom is Shenandoah Mtn Wind'em Casey, she scored 100 on her Penn hip. Father is Shenandoah Mtn Creek Seanan, he scored 80 on his Penn Hip. Both parents are top notch hunting dogs and are our one, two dogs. Jack has seen 200 birds plus in his training. He is a kennel dog and is not house broken. Most of his training has been just natural letting him do his thing, he pretty much brings bird back to hand, no training on that at all. He is all natural. He does know, here, whoa, and heel. The best thing I can say about this dog is he want to be your friend and when you are out in the field hunting he wants to stay with you. That is why we want to find a good home for him, he really needs someone that will pay attention to him. It would be helpful if you already have a dog, since he has had a kennel full of friends, this would help make the transition easier. You can come and see this dog hunt on our property.
