Chip is an outstanding AKC, black and white GSP that has been my favorite hunting companion and family pet for the past 5 years. He has hunted all over the midwest on pheasant, duck, goose, quail, dove and grouse. We have bagged hundreds of birds together, which he has found, pointed and retrieved (should be thousands but I don't shoot that well). He is driven in the field, alert in the blind and calm in the house. Our family moved to Southwest Florida this past summer and I have stopped hunting but I would like to see my best friend continue. I am looking for a kind hunting family for him to join but would consider giving him to a well run hunting lodge, in exchange for an opportunity to hunt over him one last time. Chip's pedigree won't blow you away but he comes from honest hunting stock out of Kansas kennels. He has sired 3 AKC registered litters that produced beautiful pups, in a mix of colors and they all sold fast. He turned 6 in August but is healthy, in shape and I believe has many years of great hunting left in him. Most of us won't find his kind of temperment and hunting ability in our lifetime.
