WARNING: Who wants to buy an SHR JH Ebonstar Lean Mac daughter as a brood bitch? Anyone that knows anything about pedigrees, that’s who. Well, I thought I had found the perfect started dog. She was exactly what I wanted; a three-year-old started dog out of Ebonstar Lean Mac. I bought her from JIMMY LORMAND of Terrell, Texas as a brood bitch on the understanding that she had not received her OFA or any screenings whatsoever. I came to find that he knew she had hip dysplasia in her right hip and sold her to us knowing what our intentions were! I want everyone to know that he not only knew, but bought her from the previous owner as a gun dog only on a no breed contract. Lying to us breached our contract and selling her as a brood bitch breached the contract that he had with the first owner. I want everyone to be completely aware of what JIMMY LORMAND of Terrell, Texas is doing. He is selling dogs with problems; not dogs that have met the AKC standards. This dog was skin and bone, scared of people, animals and all sudden movements; she had no idea how to play, was a fear biter, had teeth so filthy it was worse than what is normal for a 15 year old dog and she was only 3 and ½ years old! Now I ask you, is this a man that you would buy a dog from? He still won’t refund the money we have put into the dog for purchase costs, shipping costs, and unnecessary screening costs, and is continuing to say he knew nothing. We bought the dog a month after he knew of the OFA results and this was the SECOND time she had received the same rating. He also bought the dog for $400 as a non-breedable gun dog and sold her to us for $2000 as a brood bitch. Once again, watch out for JIMMY LORMAND of Terrell, Texas. The dogs he might sell to you could have the same problems, and based on our experience and the experiences of others, probably will have problems of some sort.
