Description:

This is a repeat breeding between Star and Levi. Both of their pictures are on this ad plus the parents to Star. The yellow is Oatie' Suncrest Wild Oats that made it to the Nat'l Am 5x in his career and last 3 x to the final round. He was trained and handled entirely by amateurs and showed everyone in the competition world that he and his offspring have good natural talent. The Mom to Star is Angel. Angel was my first Master Hunter and made me look good. She qualified for her MH at age 19 months of age and weekend after qualified for the 2010 Master Nationals and ran at the MNC. Star is a joy to be around, to train and compete with. I wish they were all like her. I kept a black male from her 1st litter and he is the same as Star and Levi. Very birdy and will become every bit of what I desire in a hunting companion and a competition black male. I trained 2 of her pups from her 1st litter this last winter and they were easy to train and went home 'great' hunters with clean nice manners to them.

Star should've gone to the 2014 Master Nationals but my health went sour last year and prevented the time to compete with her to finish up her Master Title and qualify for the 2014 Master Nationals. This will not be the case this year. After this litter she will compete Master level this Summer and easily achieve her MH and as well, achieve her HRCH with HRC. I plan on competing with Star at Missouri Master Nationals 2016 along with her parents Angel and Levi.

Star is 55-60 lbs and Levi is 85-90 lbs. Parents to Star are 60 lbs for Angel and Oatie is 80 lbs.

I like what I saw come out of Star and Levi that I am keeping the first pick black and yellow females. I am taking deposits in now.. Pups landed and should be ready to go home first week of July!! Dewclaws removed on day 5 and 1st shot administered by me at age 5 weeks., Worming is at 2,3,5 and 7 weeks of age with 2 types of wormers. After the pups are 5 weeks and have had their first shot I will introduce to the water and bird wings and NOT before. With the dog flu being such a high concern these days I will NOT allow visitations to pups prior to 6 weeks of age. Plenty of videos and pictures will be provided so you will have a chance to see them grow. I am in Oregon and WA competing for the Summer season and can fly out from either Portland or Seattle non-stop flights, able to fly out at age 10 weeks and not before due to the pups ears.

I test the parents for the following:

Hips and Elbows Dysplasia via radiographs for OFA rating and PennHip Study and adding the CT Scan for the elbows this July, EIC and CNM (Levi is a carrier so the puppies will be tested to see which ones are EIC carriers non-episodal), Annual Eye exams with rating via CERF/OFA, DNA testing for PRA-prcd and RDOSD via Optigen, Refractory (near sightedness) via UC Davis and Heart. I keep up with the latest testing for Labradors thru Optigen, OFA, PennHip, UC Davis, Oregon State University, University of Pennsylvania and Cornell University.

The price on the puppies is indicative of all the testing to date on the parents and will continue testing the parents as new tests become available. I am a part of the 1% of Labrador Breeders testing the breeding stock at the correct level.
