Description:

Power packed 5 generation pedigree includes 19 dogs in the FDHF, 3 FT CH or Amateur FT Ch., 26 OS, and 23 OD. Nearly every FT Champion in recent history can be found in this litters pedigree. This is a repeat breeding. Pups from the first litter were hunting at 7 months. These pups should excel in any venue you choose; FT, HT, Tracking, Obedience, Agility etc. They also make superior upland and waterfowl hunters who will hunt all day and curl up at your feet at night. All of our dogs are house dogs, including the puppies. They are handled from birth, receive Early Neurological Stimulation days 3-16, dew claws are removed, they are wormed at least twice, and micro chipped before they leave us. They are vet checked at 6 weeks and receive their first shots. Volhard Apptitude Testing is done at 6 weeks and results are available to buyers. We have a 26 month health warranty and a written Purchase Agreement. We are taking reservations now. Please see our website www.topflightgoldenretrievers.com for pictures of Duke and Quest and last year's pups.

"The Duke" very steady at the line but takes off like a shot when released. He's bird crazy, has the great marking ability, drive and perserverance of the FDHF dogs so evident in his pedigree and a flashy style. Duke handles triple marks and diversion birds particularly well. He has a great "on-off" switch and is a perfect gentleman in the house. He gets along well with other dogs both intact males and females, is great with kids, strangers, senior citizens, and cats. Duke is especially good with puppies and can always be counted on to babysit the little ones. He is dark red, weighs 70 lbs and is 23" at the shoulder. Duke is all muscle, has a broad head and a good amount of bone.

"Quest" is our little red rocket. She is very intense in the field, whether training or testing and a lapdog in the house. She is dark red, 22" tall and weighs 55 pounds. Quest has a breath taking water entry, tons of drive, good marking ability, won't give up the hunt, gets even more determined on cripples and has a precise, snappy style that turns heads. She handles multiple marks easily, She's as fast on the return of a retrieve as she is going out. She loves to work and is a great partner with a huge heart. She adores kids, is very friendly with other dogs and cats, and has never met a stranger she didn't cuddle up to. She has been a great mom as well.

We are an AKC Breeder of Merit and are Licensed by the State of WI #402533. We are members of the GRCA and adhere to their Code of Ethics. We have been members of Northern Flight Hunting Retrievers Association since 2004 and the Land of Lakes HRC Club. I am an AKC Junior Hunt Test Judge and compete with our dogs. We will be running Duke and Quest in Senior Hunt Tests this year (2015). Please call us at 715-222-5887 to discuss this litter.
