We are proud to have bred our Reba to FC Odyssey's Perfect Traveler (Charlie). Both the sire and dam come from a proven line of titled bird dogs. Charlie is a direct son of Hall of Fame DC/AFC BISS Sam Saint Max MH. Charlie's dam is DC Odyssey's True Colors - line-bred Greif bloodlines. Charlie received his FC title at three years of age. He also has 5 points toward his show title, and thus has real potential to become a Dual Champion. According to Chuck Parietti, Charlie is an 'all natural' bird dog. Jon Han of Perfection Kennel speaks highly of Charlie as being easy to handle, calm, and very biddable.

Reba comes from a long line of NSTRA champions, with many of her close relatives being ranked in NSTRA's national top 10. Reba was steady to wing-shot-and-fall at 10 months of age. She was able to point and hold sharptail grouse at 11 months of age, and acquired her Senior Hunter title at 18 months of age. She completed her Master Hunter title at 27 months of age with less than one month of professional training. Reba has a strong desire to please - - but she is not soft. She learns quickly and takes only light correction until she figures out what you want her to do. She is a completely dependable, natural retriever from both land and water. She hunts at a medium range. While she will take a reasonably large cast, she always comes back around to locate me. She is truly a dog that hunts for you -- instead of you having to hunt for her. Reba is so easy to handle, I don't even use an electronic collar on her while wild bird hunting.

Both Reba and Charlie have been certified as OFA good. Both live in the house, and both are dark liver roan. Given all of their similar characteristics, we are expecting a high quality litter of puppies that should be able to compete in just about any venue, while at the same time easy to handle, and easy to become a part of your family.
