Sage was ready to run a very strong MH level test this spring but we scratched her from the MPR test after getting her qualified with CPR due to her pregnancy. She was 35 days in the litter and the second day was a bit hot so i pulled her. She held her birds in CP and everyone was disappointed (judges included) that we pulled her but it was the safe thing to do with her showing a large litter. Now that we have APLA in the East, we can actually certify our dogs. We will still be running her in MH in the late spring and summer in the North East after weaning this litter (I have a year long project in NY). We will travel to the prairies and put GMPR on her this fall without any problem.

This should be an all yellow litter with a mix of shade. Fox red puppies may be available depending on litter size.
All the drive of any FT or HT dog out there but the prey drive of a pointing lab and the trainability that is hard to get in high drive dogs.

This litter was designed for our needs, for our next PL and HT/Derby prospect.
Rooster was said to have the "best off switch we have seen to date" by his original trainer and that should go very well with the same trait we love in Sage. This long awaited litter off Sage and a great stud like Rooster has several commitments already so let us know if you want to be on the list. We highly prefer that these pups be placed in a competitive or HT home. With all the great lab studs with titles within a days drive on NC, why would we need to reach out....we are looking for what is hard to come by and that these two dogs have (staunch point, high drive, on/off switch, trainability and INTELLIGENCE). We like the "on/off" switch of both the dam and sire and we believe this litter will produce the pinnacle of what we look for in a retriever....calm at home and absolutely hell on wheels in the field.
