This is a repeat breeding from last year. She had 9 pups, with 5 girls and 4 boys. Passion and Blaze were breed on December 9, 2012. The pups should be born between February 6-10 2013. Possibly going home around end of March 2013. The pups from last exceeded the expectations that we all had. I keep one the females out the litter. She made it through force fetch, steady to gun, retrieving singles and doubles. This all at only 8 months. I ended up selling her to a guy who runs field trials in Kansas. All of the other pups are getting ready to run hunt tests in the spring as far as I know.
Blaze is a Grand Master Hunter. Blaze’s owner is John Graham, and was trained by Ronnie lee. He is a very well-known male, and has thrown some great chocolates.
Passion is 3 years old. She got her HR at 9 months, and her HRCH at 16 months, and went to her first grand at 18 months in Grenada MS. Went to her Second Grand this past spring. She has never passed the grand but she does have grand material. Chris Scot kept her for 2 months before this last grand and said he has never seen a dog so ready for the grand. She just caught a bad break. He also said she made more improvement on blinds in a short amount of time than he had ever seen, and that she was a natural marker. Passion can run just about anything you put in front of her, and she can run with the big dogs any day of the week.
