Male Irish Setter pup out of VC Berg Brother’s Augie x Scarlet Point’s Valley Gal (NA Prize 1, 112). Augie became the first and only Versatile Champion Irish Setter in NAVHDA history in 2008. He is a natural retriever, and has a strong drive for both upland birds and waterfowl. Our dam, Anya, has a proven NAVHDA pedigree, including her sire who was the first Irish Setter to receive a prize 1 utility score, and attend the NAVHDA Invitational. She is classy on point, and has a tireless search in the field. Both dam and sire are hunted on wild pheasant and prarie chickens. Augie is also hunted for ducks and geese, and his water retrieves for both are handled with all the enthusiasm of a Versitile Champion.

Whelped 2/16/10, this pup is one of two that we kept while deciding which one to raise and train for NAVHDA testing. Both pups are equally promising with strong noses, and desire to hunt. We just can't keep both, so we are making one available to an excellent hunting home. Dew claws removed, first and second puppy shots given. He has been started on housetraining, basic commands, and introduced to the field and birds. This is the perfect time of year to get this pup started before the hunting season!
