Repeat breeding. The first litter from these two dogs received a NA Breeder’s Award.

Maia has excelled in NAVHDA testing. She has tested three times, obtaining maximum scores each time. Maia is one of four siblings, along with their mother, to pass the 2007 Invitational (see Sharp Shooter Kennel Progeny). Her desire and style are only surpassed by her cooperation. These traits are apparent both in the field and the water. Jaeger is all go, all the time. His desire to hunt is unsurpassed, especially in the water. His drive, however, is tempered with his desire to please. Jaeger also awarded runner-up in the Utah Region in NSTRA. Although both Jaeger and Maia have done outstanding work in field trials, they are mainly hunting dogs and excel equally well in the uplands and the duck blinds. .
