Background on Glover

Glover is a heck of a performer! Glover is a very honest dog with exceptional nose and has a very strong flush. In his first year of competition in the U.S. Glover won 8 Trials and has been an incredibly consistent performer ever since, always figuring into the placements. He then went on to take second in the 1998 National Open Championship and continues to amaze me every time I watch him.

Background on Gemma

While in England and during her first season of competition, Gemma placed in four UK field trials, no small feat itself. A third place finish in an Open A.V. Spaniel Trial and a 1st/3rd/4th finish in Novice Stakes. All before the age of two! She has the typical English strengths: exceptional nose, natural quartering pattern (in all wind directions), and easy to train.



The biggest complement I can pay to Gemma is that she is a true gentlemen's spaniel that wants nothing more than to please her handler. Personally I have NEVER felt so comfortable working a dog in my life. No fighting to keep her within gun range, a simple movement of the shoulder is all that is necessary to for her to address a particular piece of cover. It’s all there naturally! She makes you want to watch her more and more with each cast and doesn’t take long to see that she is a complete package!
