First Heritage Series Auction Scores a Bullseye

The National Shooting Sports Foundation’s (NSSF) first-in-a-series of online auctions, in support of the shooting and outreach programs supported by NSSF, is now closed and raised $1,810. The auction featured a Heritage Series S&W Model 24 revolver with the highly collectible serial number “0000” donated by Lew Horton Distributors and the Smith & Wesson Performance Center. “We are proud to support the NSSF and its shooting programs by donating the number zero gun from each model in our newly released Heritage Series. The Heritage Series features reintroductions of Smith & Wesson’s significant models that shaped their history, and by donating one of these models each month they will also help shape the future of the shooting sports,” said Mike Horton, vice president, Lew Horton Distributors, Inc. This month’s auction features the Heritage Series Model 25 revolver serial number “0000”. To take part in the online auction, go to www.nssf.org/auction.
